PRESENTED BY GATORADE, THE BELLWETHER DISTRICT, AND PLANET FITNESS In January 2022, the Eagles launched Pennsylvania’s first Girls High School Flag Football League, with the goal to make girls flag football an officially sanctioned sport in the commonwealth. In its second season, participation more than doubled with 52 teams (38 teams from Pennsylvania,14 from New Jersey) and nearly 1,300 athletes. In March, the Eagles hosted the second annual Girls Flag Football Jamboree presented by NovaCare Rehabilitiation for all 52 teams. Each team received 25 custom Nike uniforms, a $3,000 stipend, a port-a-field provided by USA Football, and an NFL Flag Kit. Each athlete also received a sports bra as part of the Eagles’ sports bra initiative with Operation Warm. EAGLES GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL
