INAUGURAL GIRLS FLAG COACHING CLINIC The Eagles hosted their inaugural High School Girls Flag Coaching Clinic at Lincoln Financial Field in February. The clinic featured professional instruction from Monica Livingston (former professional football player and current trainer for Positive Coaching Alliance), Austin Bowe (former women’s head coach for Team USA), and Matthew Reimel (National Tournament Director, Reigning Champs Experiences). Sessions included tips on developing the triple-impact competitor, offensive and defensive practice drills and strategy, and a Pennsylvania girls flag officiating overview. SPORTS BRA DONATION In February, the Eagles announced a long-term, strategic partnership with Operation Warm to design, manufacture, and distribute 30,000 sports bras to young female athletes throughout the tri-state area. It is part of the team’s ongoing effort to increase access to girls’ youth sports by knocking down the barriers that stand in their way of participation. Last year, the Eagles made an unprecedented $100,000 equipment donation to support access to female- specific sports equipment. The donation translated into 6,000 sports bras, which were then donated to Leveling the Playing Field – a team partner – to provide at least one sports bra to every female athlete in need in the School District of Philadelphia. The Eagles were the first NFL team to support female youth athletes in this capacity.
