In an effort to expand their outreach to children in the School District of Philadelphia and offer greater access to free vision care, the Eagles Eye Mobile has partnered with Vision To Learn, the nation’s largest nonprofit mobile vision care provider. With this program expansion, the Eagles Eye Mobile powered by Vision To Learn serves every child in need in the School District of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Charter Schools, and districts in the five- county region, reaching thousands of children annually.
The Eagles Charitable Foundation has served more than one million children in the region through health and education programs. Thanks to the many partners and supporters of the Eagles Charitable Foundation, comprehensive vision care – including free eye exams and eyeglasses – is delivered directly to hundreds of children a day in communities that need it the most. Founded in 1996 by former Eagles Pro Bowl guard Jermaine Mayberry, the Eagles Eye Mobile – the foundation’s signature program – has administered more than 216,700 vision screenings and eye
